How to translate Drupal content site?

Step by step content translation:

1. Import translation packages
2. Install the Internationalization module (i18n module)
3. Enable these modules: locale, internationalization, translation

4. Enable multilingual support for specific content types: Administer -> Content management -> Content types
5. Activate the Translations block (not Language switcher block)
6. Translate the contents
